Fibre Optic Multicore Cable 24 Core Tight Buffered Singlemode 9/125 OS2
Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable Details
Traditionally used in riser and vertical installations predominantly for internal applications where the inner fibres are protected by a 900µm coating layered with aramid yarn and covered with an outer fire resistant jacket. Nowadays, the cable jackets also contain water resistance and UV stabilised properties meaning they can also be used outside of the building as well.
Available in fibre counts from 2-24 core, tight buffered cables are extremely easy to prepare for termination or fusion splicing.
Further protection to the cables can be applied by way of additional jackets, steel braid or armouring.
9/50 125 Fiber Optic Cable Application and Installation
- 1.This distribution or mini-break-out cable can be used for many indoor applications and outdoor applications
- 2.OFC 4/24 core cable features our new and improved ES9 tight buffer.
- 3.Typical cable applications include: LAN and WAN backbones, central office interconnections, backbones in data centres, and many other.
- 4.Fiber Optic Cable Single Mode Price is suited for installation in ducts and on trays.
- 5.Single mode fiber and multimode fiber optic cables feature an UV stabilised, water and moisture resistant sheathing, the cable is thus well suited for outdoor runs; but is not longitudinal water blocked.
